Khalid Al Amadi is an Executive Director, Technology Transformation & Innovation – M42. With more than a decade of experience working in the healthcare industry, Al Amadi has established himself as an expert in IT integration and consolidation, cost optimization, and innovation. In his current role, Al Amadi is responsible for heading the centralized IT function for Mubadala Health integrated network of world‐class facilities.
He is leading the execution of the IT integration and consolidation strategy across the organization, achieving significant cost optimization and enhancements by leveraging synergies across the network.
One of Al Amadi’s key contributions to Mubadala Health has been his leadership in developing the organization’s IT strategy is to optimize the use of technology to improve patient care, enhance operational efficiency, and ultimately achieve better health outcomes.
Al Amadi started his career at Mubadala in 2010 as an analyst, and over the years, he has taken on increasingly senior roles within the organization.
In 2012, he was appointed as a project lead for the construction of Healthpoint Hospital, where he worked closely with the project management consultant, architect, and contractor to manage day‐to‐day project matters.
Over the years, Al Amadi took on increasingly senior roles within Mubadala Health, including senior analyst, senior associate, director of operations, and vice president. In his most recent role as vice president and chief administrative officer at Healthpoint Hospital, he managed theprocurement and supply chain, marketing and communications, biomedical engineering, IT, and facilities management departments.
He was recognized for his academic excellence with the distinguished student scholarship granted by the office of His Highness the President of the UAE.
